Bass on Beds

This time of the year in many parts of the country Large Mouth Bass can be found on beds.  These beds are frequently in shallow water near cover, making Kayaks the perfect type of boat to fish for them.

Here are a few tips:

• Bass on beds are most times not feeding actively, but will protect their bed.
• Use lures that will imitate predators of the Bass eggs
• Work the lure slowly and bounce it around
• The longer it is near the bed the more likely the bass is to attack
• PLEASE RELEASE ALL BEDDING BASS…  They are breeding and the eggs they are laying and protecting are the future of the sport.
